About me

Whatever you’re going through, I believe that everyone deserves a safe and supportive space to be heard. As a counsellor, my passion lies in helping you navigate life’s challenges, whether that’s coping with stress, managing difficult emotions, working through relationship struggles, or simply finding more balance and clarity day-to-day.

I practice integratively, which means I draw on different therapeutic methods to suit your individual needs, rather than using a ‘one-size-fits-all’ way of working. I am also trained in coaching techniques, which can be helpful if you’d like to explore practical steps towards change alongside emotional support.

My approach

My approach is gentle and holistic, yet down-to-earth and conversational. Together, we can explore your thoughts and feelings, uncover new perspectives, and build practical strategies that support your well-being and personal growth. I will work alongside you at your pace, tailoring our sessions to meet your individual needs.

At the heart of my work is our counselling relationship. By building mutual trust, openness and understanding, I believe we can work towards meaningful change, greater self-awareness, and a stronger sense of wellbeing. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge, feeling stuck, or simply want space to reflect, I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you in the process.

How I can help

To help you on your journey, I bring with me a wealth of professional and personal experience in the field of person-centred care, having worked in social care settings for over 25 years. This has given me a deep understanding of the practical and personal challenges people may face in their lives.

I have a particular interest in supporting older people and have experience in working in bereavement, helping individuals navigate the complex emotions of grief and loss. I am also experienced in supporting those struggling with depression and anxiety, offering a safe, non-judgmental space to explore difficult feelings and work towards a more fulfilling life.

In our first session, we’ll spend some time getting to know each other, talking about what’s brought you to counselling, and what you’d like to get out of it. It’s a chance for you to see if I feel like the right fit for you – there’s no pressure, just a warm, confidential space to begin your journey.

Appointments and fees

My charge is £60 for a 50 minute session, but I offer a free 30 minute introductory meeting. I will be happy to hear from you.
