Amy Pearce – Counsellor

Amy Pearce - Counsellor

About me and my practice

Hello, my name is Amy (she/her). I’m an integrative relational counsellor.

I create a space where clients can be fully heard, explore issues whether related to past or present life experiences and deepen their understanding of those experiences. My practice incorporates a consideration of the social and cultural dynamics and narratives we are influenced by to gain further clarity and potential relief.

The aim is that this will facilitate a greater sense of choice and allow you to build better connections in your relationships with others and with yourself.

I work from an integrative approach which means that I draw on a range of therapeutic thinking and models such as Psychodynamic, Relational, Humanistic, Feminist and Body Psychotherapy. This is dependent on your needs and what you bring up in therapy.

I have experience in working with people who have brought many different things to therapy including: low self-esteem; anxiety; domestic abuse; relational trauma; exploring their sexuality; grief; life changes; trauma.

Our first session

Our first session together is charged at half the usual fee. It is an opportunity to see what it would be like working together, and whether we are a good fit.

I currently have Tuesday afternoon and evening slots available. However, please do get in touch as I have some flexibility during the week.

I offer peak and off-peak fees of £70 and £60 with some concessionary rates available.
