Liat Hoch – Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychotherapist

I am a qualified integrative child, adolescent and adult psychotherapist who has been seeing children, adolescents, adults and families of all ages and stages of developments and in a wide range of settings.

I use words, art, play, sandtray and drama as tools to enable the person I am working with to express themselves and together we work towards their goals.

My process varies depending on the age of the child or young person but in general I will start with an initial parent meeting where we can talk about what’s happening for the family or individual at present and how they would like things to be. I may ask about the early years and family structure as we are all part of a larger family system.

I will then have three sessions with the child and then another feedback session with parents to talk about how we go forward. With adults I suggest we meet once so you can get an idea of what it may be like to work together and then we can agree together how to go on from there.
