I have been lucky enough to study and work in mental health and psychology for nearly 10 years. In my experience, the therapy that brings about the most profound change is free from all judgement, safe, and collaborative.
I am a registered member of the BACP and have trained in humanistic, psychodynamic, and CBT. Typically, my therapeutic stance depends on the needs of the client, and I will borrow from the approach that the client and I find most useful.
I have a special interest in working with sexuality including sexual development, embodiment, sexual trauma, relational difficulties, femininity, masculinity, and body-related issues.

Above all else I am an open, caring, and warm therapist and my clients have thanked me for offering a safe space to explore their difficulties and strengths.
Taking the first step to enter therapy can feel anxiety provoking and overwhelming. I do keep this in mind and endeavour to make you feel as safe and comfortable as possible to start exploring what has brought you to therapy.

Typically, we will have a 10-20min telephone consultation before the first session where we briefly discuss the setup and agree on a time for our first session.
Psychotherapy sessions usually last 50 minutes. In the first session I will ask you some questions about what has brought you to therapy and we discuss what you wish to gain from the therapy and come up with a plan.
